2014 Trip To Savannah and Charleston

Well you might have thought after last year's six month cross country trip, we would be taking it easy, and you'd be RIGHT. We are only going to take one or two trips this summer, and trip number one is underway. We are in Savannah, Georgia. One of our favorite places.

Before leaving Steve was chatting with one of our neighbors and he found out about a great Italian restaurant, Corleone's. OMG!!!!!! We arrived in Savannah a little after noon. We are staying at our Savannah campground, Savannah Oaks RV Park. We have stayed here before; we are in a nice shady site, there's cable, and the wifi is working and fast. Pretty good place in my book.

So we got set up and decided to go into town to just walk around a little bit then have an early dinner and get back to relax for the evening. We walked around Emmet Park, Washington Square, and Warren Square for a little bit then on to dinner.

We started off with calamari and ended with two cannolis. It was so incredibly good! We have passed this place so many times in previous visits to Savannah and never stopped, what a huge mistake that was. Corleone's is a must stop from now on.

We only just made it home, all either of us wanted to do was moan because we ate so much, but I let Steve beat me at cards then we watched some TV. Tomorrow is supposed to be a rainy yucky day so we will just be staying put and relaxing, yeah cause we had to drive 200+ miles to relax. What a crazy thing.
